Being a Agentic learner in Grill 2.0


The agency target in Grill 2.0 is how you learn,the target has 3 stages red-Guided, orange-managing self and green- being an empowered and Agentic learner.  We move up the target in 6 topics Learning spaces,learning pit,Managing and designing my own learning,knowing myself as a learner,Collaboration and Strive for excellence.We use these to develop our learning.

Learning Pit

A learning pit is where you challenge yourself to work your best and strive for excellence to finish your learning. We are the learning pit when the task is hard and we need to climb out of the learning pit by try to use strategies to finish the task. Being in the learning pit is ok because your are trying to challenge yourself and actually trying to finish your task to a high standard.

Learning spaces

Learning spaces is where you choose sit in the best place for your learning.I choose where I sit and who I sit with.If it's a group Collaboration I would sit where I could talk and collaborate.But if I need to be focused I would sit somewhere I could focus on my learning and finish whatever I am doing.

Managing and designing my own Learning

Managing and designing my own learning is knowing your next steps and going to workshops which will help you grow as a learner. Designing my own learning is planning out your day and trying to manage your time.If you know your next steps you can improve by going to workshops or watching a YouTube video about it.

Collaboration

Collaboration is working with others.It is working people you choose to and people who you don't know.Collabaration is not taking over and including everyone in the group and helping everyone.Collabaration us working as a group not a individual.

Knowing myself as a learner

Knowing myself as a learner is where you know your next steps and using them to improve in your learning.If you know your next steps it will help you improve.As a example if there is a writing matrix you can see if you have improved in your writing or not.

Strive for excellence

Strive for excellence is trying your best in everything you do.Not rushing your work but finishing it up to a high standard.If you finish your learning it has to be up to a high standard or you did not strive for excellence and just rushed it.

Hieroglyphic narrative

I was in a forest. Scavenging through the forest to get water and food to survive. My life was on the
line.Eventually I found a tree of reed leafs. It was the only thing I had. I ate a lot. After a while I started to get a stomach ache.I went to the tree to find out why I felt weird. In a code it said DO NOT EAT. It also said if you eat it you will only have 6 hours to live.

I was freaking out on what to do but decided to look for more clues on the tree.I scanned the tree and found a instruction to make the antidote. This was exactly what I needed.I looked at the instructions and it said I needed a jar to put the ingredients in it a broken twisted flax wick and one piece of a lions fur.

I headed to find my ingredients.I had a jar in my bag from my lunch.I saw twisted flax wick wrapped around trees.I ran to the trees desperately but suddenly a Lion jumped in front of me guarding me from the trees.I jumped for my life and trees to get some.But I was unsuccessful and fall on the floor in front of the human eating beast.

 The world flashed before my eyes.I couldn't feel my arms and I could felt blood dripping down my arm.I could feel the lion attacking I looked down and I saw the lion walking of.I looked at my arm and it was gone.

I stood up in pain and looked around for the tree.I found it and got 2 

pieces of twisted flax wick.I looked at my watch and it said I had only had 3 hours left.I had to get all the ingredients before I did. The last ingredient was water from a lake. But that was easy because there was lake right next to this forest.

I walked to the end of the forest to go to the lake to the water.I ran as fast as a cheetah when I saw the lake.When I got there I saw a sign saying vicious deadly creatures in water.DO NOT SWIM. I could see the dirty water fill of dead fish and water pollution.I got my empty drink bottle and quickly got the water so nothing would happen like the Lion.I put the water into my canteen and left.A shadow covered me up.I was not going to survive.

I am taking part in the blog post challenge.It is when I have to do 7 blog posts in 7 days.The catch is one blog post should be about learning and in one blog post you have to have a photo or image.I hope I complete this challenge.

Cinderella and Rockerfella

We had Just finished our whole school production.I am so amazed how it turned out.The Cinderella and Rockerfella production was a great success for both night.I had a great time there doing the dances.It was a great experience I will not forget.Every thing went great and I wish I could do it again!!!

This production was my first production I had done at C.S.N.S and it was hard to do it with all of the people. The crowd was very helpful because they supported us by cheering for us.When I got on stage there applause welcomed me.


There were two acts,act one and act two.Grill 2.0 was in Act one except the leads and the talent act.I was in the ballroom scene and the time dance.My favourite was the time dance because our gloves were glow in the dark and it went perfect.

My Amazing Dad

This is my writing I wrote for my dad for Father's Day.I hope you like my Father's Day writing.My dad is great.He is always fun and makes me feel safe.He helps me with my homework and gives me Ice cream when my Mum says no.My dad and I make heaps of memories each day.He is very good at cooking and makes me meals everyday.

He is always caring and makes the best barbecue ever.He's very funny and makes me laugh.He plays badminton and tennis when I bored and let's me win so I get happy.He is kind and very fun.I forget about all the bad things in life when you're around.

When he comes back from work he is always  happy.Even though he was tired he would still love to know about my day.He is my 
shining star who guides me through my life step by step.I want to say Happy Father's Day.

Great Britain 🇬🇧

Great Britain is located in the continent of Europe and includes England,Scotland,Wales and Northern Ireland. Great Britain is one of the 206 countries competing in the Rio 2016 Olympics. This country has a population of 63.1 million people. Great Britain has 366 athletes competing in the olympics. Great Britain is completely surrounded by the North Atlantic sea. The flag of Great Britain is a Union Jack with the colours of white,red,and blue.


The top tourist attraction in Great Britain is the Tower of London. In the tower there are priceless Crown Jewels and there are amazing stories in the walls. Did you know that There is only a 34 kilometre (21 mile) gap between England and France and the countries are connected by the Channel Tunnel which opened in 1994. The Summer Olympic Games have been held in London 3 times, in 1908, 1948 and 2012.

An environmental issue in Great Britain is Air pollution. It is mostly caused by transportation and factories. Great Britain has been trying to avoid air pollution but the air is still getting contaminated by dust clouds. This country has a lot of good tourist attractions and I hope they can find a solution to their environmental issues.

My role in the production

Have you heard of Cinderella and Rockerfella before? Well if you haven't you should see College street normal school production's called Cinderella and Rockerfella.In the production there are many scenes and lead roles which are fun and a experience I won't forget.The dances are awesome and every one has put a honest effort in.Cinderella was played my Kristy and Rockerfella was played by Terado.


The whole school is involved in the production.All the Grill girls including me are in the time dance.The time dance is right after the ballroom scene which we are in too.Through out all the scenes we act and make our acting reality.In our dance it is when there is only 4 minutes to twelve and Cinderella and the fairy's are trying to turn the time back.In the ball scene we are at the ball and we are having a party.

We have put in a lot hard work to make this production happen.Thanks for all the teachers who have helped us do dances and make the production happen.Cinderella and Rockerfella is a great story,and I can't wait until the production.

My favourite thing about learning in Gri11 2.0

I am going to tell you about what my favourite thing about Gri11 2.0 is.I know about lots of schools who do the complete oppisite of what we do.Some classes in school don't have a lot in common with Gri11 2.0.

My favorite thing about learning in Gri11 2.0 is Mr R and Miss G lets us sit with whoever we want.I like this way of learning because when we need to be in quiet we can move.By learning where ever I want I can manage our learning and make sure I finish all the task before the week finishes.


I like this way of learning because when you are getting distracted you can move and get more work done.If we had to sit in a seat and we weren't allowed to move,if I got distracted I would never be able to get work done.
